CHAPTER 1

A. The Mind's Work

Writing has evolved from the era of the pen to the era of the mind.

In Nursery school, Writing is about knowing how to scribble words with a pencil.

In college, writing is about knowing how to type an assignment as fast as possible.

But in the world of business, writing is a gem. It is a sales tool and a career advantage, some call it a skill while others call it a gift.

So Who is a Writer?

A writer is someone who knows how to think and explain those thoughts in words.

Briefly take your mind away to your favorite novelists, how they think about a sunny misty evening and how all they want is to live a good life and next thing your reading their novel titled "The Misty Evening". That novel is their thoughts being explained in words.

Everything you read is a reflection of the writer's thoughts.

Even though we aren't novelist in the web3 space, the quality of the work we produce isn't entirely a product of research but a product of how your mind was able to creatively process all the information and structure it in a way others can understand.

A Writer's work Starts in the Mind

And in the same vein, the impact of your work as a writer is first found in the mind.

If someone really likes what you wrote, it resonates with them and they can even quote it without looking at the text, it's because your writing affected their minds.

Writing is a Mind-to-Mind Exchange. I am passing down what my mind has understood and experienced to another person's mind so that they can understand and create their results or experiences from what I have written.

Because I know this little vital rule, before I write anything at all, I let it linger in my mind.
